For this project, DMMA created a bold and natural interior materials palette of integrally colored concrete, venetian plaster and sandstone. This deliberately subtle and organic backdrop provides a richness to the interiors, while at the same time remaining visually passive enough for the clients extensive collection of Japanese prints to be experienced without interference from the interiors themselves. The millwork designs and furnishings themselves help to make this architecturally crisp structure a warm and inviting interior to live in.
