Rural Italian Estate

The client for this home wished to have an interior that was comfortable and relaxed, within the architectural context of a rural Italian estate style. The clients wanted to have a family home where they and their friends are at ease, and where the interiors are practical and inviting. The interior design palette was conceived to be simple, and not overly heavy or busy. Decorative lighting and finishes were kept simple and classic. Furniture and fabrics are generally neutral and subdued. Italian and French antiques are used as accent pieces, both in the interior and exterior furnished areas and were mixed with reproductions that are stylish and practical. The completed project was well suited to its architectural setting and the client’s casual lifestyle.
