The interiors of this family house embraced historical aspects of English country houses, while at the same time making the house “new” by simplifying and neutralizing the color and material’s palette. The interiors are simple and well appointed, tailored and edited. Although the home was newly designed and built, it has the hallmarks of an earlier era. Details in millwork, trim, floors etc. were all carefully selected and managed by DMMA, in order to create a backdrop that was both practical and historically relevant. The richness and warmth of the completed interiors provide a perfect setting for this family of five.
