This new construction residential building site in North Scottsdale was carefully placed by the architect into a sort of botanical vitrine, where the home’s vistas are primarily oriented towards arroyos of specimen native plants and trees. The building architecture and interiors harmonize and intertwine, within the style context of modern-contemporary. Finishes in the home, as well as millwork designs, tile treatments door details, etc. are all coordinated to provide a rich and tranquil atmosphere. Furnishings and art change from space to space, but thru lines in the interiors are present and provide homogeneity throughout. The result of the building design, landscape and interiors, all conspire to provide the client with a clear and dramatic connection to the desert site.
